• The Server component, the Database and the Client Application Components can reside in the same or in different computers. The server registers the client application components as and when the client Setup is done. The clients can operate as independent components and the server control their Access right and other Client-Server operational issues.
• When the server finds a client component fit for operation it signals the client component to start operation. The respective client then establishes connection with the database and starts working.
• If more than one user access a particular client component simultaneously the server controls the access rights of individual users and allows them access depending on their access rights.
• If more than one client components runs simultaneously and different users are accessing them, the server controls their operation in the same manner as described above and allows the individual clients to establish independent connections with the database.

The Patient module handles inpatient and outpatient registration and admission, as well as bed allocation. It provides for enquiries about the patient, the patient's location, admission and discharge details, bed census and patient movement in the hospital. Furthermore, this system even takes care of package deals for a patient for a fixed cost.

Wards
The Wards module takes care of inpatient discharge, transfer and housekeeping. It deals with the maintenance of the various wards and beds and tracks the movement of the patient, inter and intra ward transfer, temporary discharge slip generation, discharge of the patient, preparation of discharge summary and housekeeping of beds.

Nursing Home
This module keeps an abstract of clinical data about patients. It allows easy retrieval of medical records on patients. A facility exists to maintain the ICD and CPT information. Data can be analyzed and reports generated on various parameters like ICD, CPT, age, sex and duration of stay.

Pharmacy
The Pharmacy module deals with all medical items. The activities include generating indents, issues to patients, returns, updating daily stock position, stock adjustments etc. Enquiry screens include viewing daily stock position, sub store-wise stock enquiry, etc.

Inventory & Kitchen
This module caters to the needs of a full-fledged Inventory Management System. The activities include generating and raising purchase requisitions, receiving quotations, raising recommendations, raising of purchase order and much more. With the help of the enquiries provided, one can also keep a track of stock balance, items below safety stock, items with due expiry date, excess stock of items, etc.

Billing & Reports
The billing module facilitates cashier and billing operations for different categories of patients, providing automatic posting of charges related to different services like bed charges, lab tests conducted, medicines issued, consultant's fee, food and beverage charges etc. This module provides for credit party billing and can be integrated with the financial accounting module if need be.

This module deals with cash/bank, receipts/payments, and journal vouchers etc. Various books of accounts are maintained using this module. Books like cashbook; bankbook and ledgers can be generated. This module also generates reports like trial balance, balance sheet and profit and loss statement.

Doctors
This module handles information related to allocation of doctors, nurses and other staff during various types of shifts at different locations such as wards, OTs and OPD.

Payroll
This module deals with pay (and deductions) calculations, printing of salary slip, salary certificates, PF statements and also provides a monthly analysis.
